Sales & Operations Representative

Salary & Benefits:
Base salary: $52,000+ depending on experience and responsibilities
Additional bonus structure available

Position Overview:
Ka-Comm, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Representative to help deliver cutting-edge communication and public safety equipment to our customers. This includes two-way radios, dispatch consoles, emergency lighting, sirens, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in law enforcement communication equipment and a technical background.
In addition to sales, this role includes daily oversight of the Oklahoma City office, ensuring smooth operations and support for our team and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct personal visits and service calls with potential and existing customers to showcase our equipment and services
Ensure the Oklahoma City office runs smoothly, including mail handling and internal sales support
Schedule overnight travel for trade shows and customer events
Maintain accurate records for sales and administrative purposes
Follow company rules, policies, and procedures
Essential Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Experience with public safety equipment preferred
Ability to operate a laptop, QuickBooks, and other sales tools
Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
Ability to read plans and interpret customer specifications
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
Knowledge & Skills:
In-depth understanding of Ka-Comm, Inc.’s products and services
Knowledge of applicable codes and safety regulations
Experience navigating client needs and providing solutions
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work occurs both indoors and outdoors, sometimes around machinery with moving parts
Drive a company vehicle as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and maintain energy for a 10-hour workday
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and co-workers
